PennKey Live Support

The PennKey Support team offers live support via Zoom voice/video calls within your web browser. Before contacting us, please be ready to:

  1. Enable the microphone and camera on your device.
  2. Provide required photo identification for sensitive data requests, such as password resets, and help with Two-Step Verification. 

Note: We cannot provide live support for sensitive data requests without verifying your identity with the required photo identification shown via Zoom video call.

Notes: PennKey Support is also closed whenever Penn is closed for normal operations, such as during holidays and severe weather events.


 

Required Photo ID

PennKey support requests involving password resets, Two-Step Verification, and other sensitive data require photo identification for security and privacy purposes. 

Note: Your identification documents must be original; we cannot accept photocopies, scans, or digital photos for verification.

Two of the following (at least one with a photo)

  • Driver's license
  • Passport
  • Military ID card    
  • Social Security card  
  • Birth certificate    
  • Citizen ID card    
  • Native American tribal document

Option 3

One from Option 2, plus two other forms of ID
 

Examples
  • Other school IDs   
  • Gym membership cards (with full name and photo)    
  • Utility bills (with full name and address)

 

Additional Support Options

If you are on campus, you can visit a central PennKey Administration Station in person with the required photo identification
