Are you enrolled in Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)? 

You can use SSPR to receive a PennKey password reset link via email.

Reset your PennKey password with SSPR

  1. Go to SSPR's Reset Password page.
  2. Enter your PennKey username, and follow the prompts to reset your password.
  3. You will receive a password reset link to your personal (non-Penn) email address, and you'll also receive a text message on your pre-registered cell phone number to verify that a password reset link was sent to you. Use the reset link to reset your PennKey password.

University and UPHS staff, students, faculty, and alumni

If you are not enrolled in SSPR, you will need a Setup Code to reset your PennKey password.

  1. Go to the Contact PennKey Support page and review the required photo identification.
  2. Click the Contact Us button, or visit a PennKey Administration Station location to obtain a Setup Code.
  3. Go to the PennKey Registration application and use the Setup Code to reset your password.

Notes:

  • Setup Codes and the PennKey Registration application are used for both registering new PennKeys and resetting your PennKey password.
  • Please consider enrolling in Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) after resetting your password for a quicker, more convenient future password-resetting experience.

CHOP Employees

  1. Go to the CHOP PennKey Administration website.
  2. Click Submit a Question to contact CHOP PennKey Support.

Forgot Username

  1. Go to Forgot PennKey username.
  2. Enter your information and click Submit. If the information you provide matches our records, your username will be displayed on the page.
