This workstream will ensure that the use of AI at Penn complies with the University’s strict rules for keeping data safe. The team will evaluate and revamp training and promote awareness of ethical AI use and protocols for data handling. Additionally, the Security and Privacy Impact Assessment (SPIA) will be used as a critical tool to identify vulnerabilities in information resources, fostering a secure environment for AI application and compliance with privacy standards while safeguarding sensitive data.
