Allocated funds support the net expense of operating the University’s Administrative Service Centers. Funds are collected centrally, through charges levied on each School, Resource Center, and Auxiliary.
Overview
Workplace Learning Solutions provides support for Workday Learning, Penn's training and development learning management system, deployed in partnership with the Workday Operations team, which facilitates registration for classroom, virtual, and web-based training for university employees and other affiliated populations. The team liaises with Penn Medicine Academy and other UPHS departments to coordinate training requirements between our two entities. To more easily collaborate, we support Rustici Content Controller to manage shared content between systems. The team also provides licensing and support for LinkedIn Learning as a standalone product as well as through Workday Learning, Knowledge Link, and Canvas LMSs. To create home-grown content, the team also brokers and supports Articulate 360 with AI Assistant. Using these tools, the team provides consultation on learning strategy and instructional design advice and referrals.
