PennKey Registration Instructions
How you get a PennKey depends on your affiliation with Penn. The PennKey registration process typically requires obtaining a Setup Code, but there are different steps, guidance, and support based on your role and relationship with the University.
Students
Step 1: Get a PennKey Setup Code
- Penn automatically emails Setup Codes with instructions to incoming students. You will receive an email sent to the email address you used when you applied.
- If you didn't receive a Setup Code, please check your junk and spam folders.
- If your Setup Code has expired and you need to request a new one, please contact the Office of the University Registrar.
Step 2: Register your PennKey
Once you have a Setup Code, go to the PennKey Registration application and follow the prompts.
