The Video Production Service is a central service provider at Penn that is uniquely positioned to work with you and your department to create video content that meets a broad range of objectives, including:
- Concept development – Our production team will work with you to determine if video is the proper resource for your project, and help integrate video technologies into an overall communications strategy.
- Pre-production planning
- script development and purposeful interview preparation
- shooting location selection and preparation
- green screen studio recording
- graphics
- voiceover narration recording
- one- or multi-camera shoots
- Post-production services
- digital video editing
- encoding for final presentation, such as disc or online streaming (for YouTube or Vimeo, for example)
- Production support services for Open Learning projects, MOOCs (Coursera, etc.), and flipped classroom video materials
- professional HD green screen lecture capture studio
- digital editing of slides and teaching content
- consultation services to assist in planning, course content design, and on-camera coaching
- Live webcast service - sending produced video of your live event to a worldwide audience of online viewers, using YouTube or Facebook live, for example
