The revolutionary Snowflake Data Analytics Platform & Consulting offering leverages Snowflake as a full data, analytics, and AI platform. Snowflake can exploit advanced analytics tools, analyze unstructured data, and draw novel conclusions. The platform includes data management, data sharing, analytics, Cortex AI/ML features, and Snowflake Intelligence within a centrally provisioned environment that is distinct from the enterprise data warehouse and locally managed. This offering is part of the Data Analytics Service.
Offering
Dedicated Snowflake Account
The core offering is a dedicated Snowflake account (tenant), where ISC provides support for the Snowflake platform itself, including provisioning, baseline configuration, adherence to enterprise security standards, and onboarding sessions covering platform fundamentals, usage patterns, and best practices. Schools and centers are responsible for user management, role administration, data modeling, and analytics development within their Snowflake accounts.
Snowflake storage and compute usage are billed directly to the center on a pass-through basis at the University’s negotiated Snowflake rates.
Optional Consulting Services
Optional consulting services are available to provide guidance on Snowflake features and capabilities, data architecture and modeling support, analytics and reporting enablement, data sharing and integration patterns, AI/ML and Snowflake Intelligence use cases, performance and cost optimization best practices, and role-based access control frameworks and best practices.
Consulting engagements are scoped based on unit needs and billed separately.
