Overview
This Virtual Desktop service options list includes a description of each option as well as the type of user targeted by that option.

| Standard Desktop | Any user needing Email/Web Browser, or any application that is not resource intensive. | Desktop resides in a single data center. Location provides fault tolerance but does not guarantee high availability. |
| High Availability | Users who require minimum downtime. | Fully redundant desktop pools residing in two locations. Each location provides fault tolerance. Upon being disconnected, user would be required to log back in to get reconnected. Some original session data could be lost. |
| Application only – Standard | Users who need applications without the need for a full desktop. | Desktop independent application delivery only. Resources reside in a single data center. Location provides fault tolerance but not guarantee high availability. |
| Application only – High Availability | Users who need applications without the need for a full desktop and require minimal downtime. | Desktop independent application delivery only. Resources reside in multiple data centers. Each Location provides fault tolerance. Upon being disconnected, user would be required to log back in to get reconnected. In some instances, we also interface with client specific resources. As such, the descriptions above are subjective due to the highly flexible nature of the Virtual Desktop service.
