SANS SEC598: AI and Security Automation for Red, Blue and Purple Teams

The University of Pennsylvania Office of Information Security (OIS) is excited to host SANS SEC598: AI and Security Automation for Red, Blue, and Purple Teams, a six-day, hands-on cybersecurity training course focused on applying AI and automation to modern security operations.

    Please arrive early for registration, breakfast, and course material pickup.

Registration

  1. Complete the Registration Interest Survey by August 12, 2026, using the following link:

  2. Obtain your supervisor's approval. Once approval has been verified, your information will be submitted to the SANS course registration roster.
  3. Watch for registration communications. After your registration has been processed, you will receive additional information from the Office of Information Security (OIS) and/or SANS regarding course enrollment, access instructions, and laptop setup requirements.

We encourage interested participants to submit their survey responses as early as possible to facilitate timely registration and course preparation.

This is a hands-on technical course. Participants must bring a laptop that meets the SANS minimum requirements.

Course Materials

Course materials will be distributed at the venue. For approved virtual attendees or special circumstances, materials may be shipped to the address provided during registration. Tracking information will be provided, and materials should be stored securely until the start of class.
