Managing Shared Links on PennBox

Learn how to identify expired links in PennBox and how to manage your shared links.

Content with an expiring link will be marked with the following icons:

For help creating a shared link, refer to the Creating Shared Links documentation on the Box Support website.

While in the shared link dialog box, click on Invited people only, then select the desired option from the dropdown menu that appears. Note: Choosing “People with the link” will open your content up to the public and is not secure.

While in the shared link dialog box, click Link Settings.

In the Shared Link Settings window that appears, click on the calendar icon.

Select the desired expiration date, then click Save.

While in the Shared Link Settings window, uncheck the checkbox labeled Disable Shared Link on. Then click Save.

While in the shared link dialog box, click the toggle switch labeled Shared link is created to turn it off.

In the confirmation dialogue box that appears, click Okay.
