ISC has a quarterly Data Center Planned Maintenance program, with maintenance windows scheduled for every August, October, February, and June of each fiscal year. During these maintenance windows, we plan outages for weekends and on dates historically the least disruptive to significant campus events and key dates in the University’s academic and business calendars.
Maintenance windows are required to support and sustain the technology infrastructure that supports University systems, are key to the Data Center providing consistent and predictable service, and help to prevent unplanned downtime. Examples of work that ISC performs during maintenance windows include hardware and software maintenance, repairs, upgrades, patching, and changes to improve system performance, health, and manageability.
Note: We provide details for each maintenance window at ISC Service Status.
