Van Dyke Technologies' SecureCRT is the recommended secure shell (ssh) client for Windows. SecureCRT supports SSH1 and SSH2.
Important note: BEN Application users should refer to the BEN Desktop Standards document for information about text-based network access clients that have been approved for use with BEN.
SecureCRT versions 8.7.3 and above functions correctly in Windows 10/11.
SecureCRT is site licensed at Penn and is available free of charge to members of the Penn community. SecureCRT is available for download using your PennKey and password.
This version of SecureCRT has been configured to include profiles for many of the University's mail servers.
