Overview

Improvements in organizational efficiency and standardization across academic, research, and administrative units are recommended. These include optimizing large enterprise applications, such as Workday and Pennant and reducing work duplication, administrative burden, and diversity of tasks by using common tools, platforms, and automation. Training and awareness on key tools and systems is needed to ensure the effective use of technologies for students, faculty and staff. Evaluate systems that may benefit from being centralized. Identify processes that can be standardized or streamlined to reduce complexity and administrative burden as well as technologies or systems that can be turned off. Addressing issues of data integration across various systems, such as Slate, the Data Warehouse, Interfolio, and faculty systems is also important.
