In under two years, PARCC created one of the most ambitious academic computing resources in the country. The system can perform over 8 quadrillion calculations per second and is expected to be listed among the world’s top500-classsupercomputers. With an investment of $25 million, PARCC unites advanced processors, ultra-fast networks, and 5 petabytes of storage to support multi-disciplinary research.
